New Childzone Calendar 2010

The Board of Trustees, Management and staff would like to take this opportunity to thank the Children's England fund for supporting a calendar project which promotes the service we provide and how equality and diversity is an intergral part of our work and commitment to good practice.

The new 2010 calendar was a project that was led by the Children's Zone staff who worked in partnership with Jean-Pierre Magloire (Cultural Photographer) and Urban Publishing(Printing and Marketing Company) to produce an A3 calendar that portrays images of activities and the promotion of the KIMC approach and commitment to ensuring the diverse cultures and communities are included in the everyday activities that the children partake in.

The calendar further promotes the Afterschool and Playscheme range of activities which enables education, play and learning experiences that encourages the children to learn about their own identity, their cultural background and an equality awareness and understanding of children from diverse backgrounds, which promotes better understanding and respect for all groups.

KIMC Children's Zone is a fully inclusive Afterschool and Playscheme provision, which caters for children age 3 - 12 years.  It is an OFSTED regulated provision and all staff are CRB checked and qualified up to NVQ level 4.
